Don`t you just love Monday mornings? Well, on this particular morning Luno Greyback was tired, angry, and irritable. Was this unusual behavior for Greyback? The best answer would be yes. However, it would be a lie. You see, it would be very uncharacteristic for Luno not to be cold and nasty.
Luno strode up the grounds, his wounds hurting with even the slightest pressure. Last night, it was a full moon. He had a deep gash under his left eye, and many scratches along his chest.
Through all the time Luno had been at Hogwarts, he had never seen the Womping Willow for himself. He heard stories about the giant tree, he even heard that a Werewolf had lived there. He assumed that they were talking about his father. You see, about a twenty years ago he attacked a student at Hogwarts. Several students discovered his " double identity " and began to harass him and make up stories.
After taking a look at the Willow, Lucius walked back to the black lake and sat down a book in his hands. Luno was someone who often kept to himself, and reading was one of his favorite past times. But on this particular morning, someone found the need to talk to him.

Lynne felt too cooped up in the Slytherin common room, having all the chaos of everyone elses problems, made it seem as if she didn't have her own problems muchless having to worry about everyone elses. Deciding to go for a walk sounded better then being stuck in there with a bunch of ticked off girls and how their relationships and schooling is going. "What a bunch of morons." she said cold heartedly. Walking out of the common room, she slammed the door making sure everyone would noticed, then followed the stairs up and out to the grounds.
Upon stepping out of the castle and onto the grounds itself, the day was bright, sunny and well just plainly beautiful and warm. Glancing around at those who were out today, she began to walk around. Her arms were placed behind her back, her long flowing brown hair whipped around behind her from the gently calm breeze that blew through. Her dark brown eyes matched the murky waters of the lake. Thoughts of school and life in general began to take place, planting themselves within her mind. Each thought carried a specific reason for being there, an so she tried to find a solution to them, however now wasn't the time.
Making her way over to the lake, she took a seat and watched the waters ripple and dance across. It was seemingly peaceful there and it was the only place where she found no chaos and havoc. Thoughts continued to cross her mind, but she tried her best to forget about them for now. What she was trying to do was in enjoy a day without any problems but the way the day started off, it was almost impossible not to run across some kind of problem. Deciding to relax alittle more, Lynne took her shoes off and dipped her feet into the water. The coolness of the liquid surrounded her feet and calves felt good. The feeling of extacsy swarmed her mind letting all thoughts escape her.
While in this little dreamy state, her ears picked up the sound of a book being opened, see, she didn't really pay attention to who was at the lake, she just wanted to escape. Turning her head, she saw a boy probably not much older than herself. Tilting her head slightly her sleek jaw line was faced towards him as she gazed upon him. Again straightening her neck and as polite as she could, she tried to conversate with him "Hello, lovely day isn't it?" she asked watching his eyes while he read. Now whether he decided to answer her would be up to him.

Leland had been sitting by the lake as he usually did on monday mornings. He liked to get outside the confines of the school. Get away from the mudbloods and the lessers. Particulary upset this morning due to his daydreams being interrupted by a girl talking, he looked over where he heard the voice.
He could see an odd boy reading a book and a girl he knew was a Slytherin was speaking to him. The outrage! Thoughts went flying through his head at the sight of this, how could one of his house lower themselves to speak to a Gryffindor, the boy was probably a useless mudblood anyways. Well better see what was going on.
Leland stood and approached the boy and the Slytherin girl who had disturbed him, as he was within earshot he completely ignored the boy turning to the female and extending his hand in greeting. "Hello, I am Leland Troy, it is a pleasure to meet you...." He paused waiting for the girl to respond with her name.

Luno nearly dropped his book as the girl said hello to him. Luno knew who this was, Lynne McKinnen. She was a Slytherin. One of those filthy, muggle hating, rebellious scum. Yet this trouble maker had made no ill gesture; she merely said hello. Luno was confused, and he only smilied back and nodded.
Just then a perfect example of Slytherin Slime walked up. Leland Troy was his name, or Luno preferred to call him, “ The Slytherin Prince ” . He also strode up the grounds like he owned to place; like he was better than everybody else. Luno instantly hated Leland.

Lynne looked up at the sight of her fellow house mate "Hello, Lynne McKinnen. Pleasure to meet you too." she said taking his hand and shook it gently before returning it to her lap. Looking back over at the boy, she could tell that he didn't like either her nor the boy that stood above her. Pulling her brown hair back behind her shoulders, her brown eyes scanned the lake as she moved her legs in the water. Glancing back up at the guy above her who named himself as Leland Troy, she smirked "Have your pants in a twist and can't sit down? Terrible, terrible." she cackled a small laugh.
It seemed as if both had lost their tongues, and hoped it wasn't that they were speechless but oh well, it wasn't like she cared anyway. Lynne had decided she wanted to take a swim, so remembering a spell that transformed her clothes into another outfit, she waved her wand around her head and changed in the cloud of smoke into a bikini. Once the cloud cleared, she strapped her wand to her side as she made her way into the cool water.

A hint of anger glinted across his green eyes as Lynne thought to insult him about not sitting down. It was quickly squashed as she changed into a bikini and headed into the lake. Well..I can't possibly let my house mate be out here in a bikini alone with him! His eyes quickly darted to the Gryffindor and a hint of recognition crossed his features.
This Gryffindor was Luno Greyback, a sixth year who wasn't worth Leland's time or anger. Sitting down and watching Lynne closely a small smile creeped across his lips. Anyone paying close enough attention would of noticed that his eyes never truly left Luno.

Luno’s eyes moved around between his book, the half naked girl, and the filthy mudblood hater. He couldn’t help looking up at Lynne occasionally because, in truth, she was rather beautiful. However, when he looked up he also saw Leland starring at her. It made him sick.
Every now and then Leland would shoot a nasty little look towards Luno. On the fifth occasion Luno was starting to get very annoyed. “You going to say something to me Slytherin? Perhaps you should put your eyes back in your head first!” He said glancing over to Lynne as he spoke.

Lynne had been swimming not paying too much attention to the two of them. As she dipped herself down and stood up, the water dripped down her body as the sun shone down on her making the water shimmer. Pulling her hair back out of her face, she heard the Gryffindor say something to Leland. All she could do was roll her eyes slightly then swam over to them "Don't tell me you're fighting over me already?" she laughed slightly hinting a bit of sarcasm in her voice.
Kneeling in the water, she looked at Luno, then at Leland and shook her head "I'd like to think I get some say in it." she smirked then swam away from them a little ways. She could tell that Luno had some kind of interest in her, and well it was quite obvious Leland did too. Wow, what was a girl to do with so much attention being show to her.

Luno was liking this girl less and less by the moment. At first glance, she seemed to be exactly like all those other festering Slytherins : Pompous, and arrogant! And on top of it she though they were fighting over her! Luno had no interest in fighting for this girl, but he was up to a fight with Leland.
“Umm … what?” Luno said trying to keep his voice unharsh. “Don’t misunderstand , but I think Leland is the one who wants you … not I” He said returning to his book.

He had sat in silence during Luno's feeble attempts to start a fight, but when Luno had blatantly been rude to another Slytherin. "I'd watch your tongue Gryffindor, you should consider it an honor that someone from the noble house of Slytherin has even deemed you worthy of the time of day." These last words left his mouth with an almost venomlike tone.
Turning his head back to Lynne in the water Leland slipped back into his silent state.

"That maybe so, but don't think I couldn't see you watching me." she smiled lightly, yes it wasn't within her personality to be nice to anyone except for her own house, however, today she was pleasingly happy for some reason. "Anyway, of to go swim for a last time then back up here to dry off." she said turning to Leland giving him a quick wink, then swam away. As she was swimming away, she heard the boy from her house jump at the Gryffindor boy for talking to her like that. Lynne didn't really care at the moment, she was out just to have a little fun.
After a few laps from one side of the lake to the other, Lynne swam back to shore. Walking back up the embankment, she conjured a towel to lay down on and dry off the old fashion way by sun light. The water glistened on her skin as she rested on the towel, with her arm over her eyes to block the sunlight from shining into them. It was quite funny being in a situation such as this, two rivalry houses just a few short feet from each other as she sat in a neutral position between them. She looked over at the Gryffindor then asked "What are you reading anyway?" she said still shielding her eyes.
