Hogwarts :: A New Beginning
It has been nearly ten years since the defeat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Name. By either luck or a strange twist of fate, Harry Potter survived with only a few deep cuts and a couple nasty bruises. Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley also escaped unscratched, and are currently living out the rest of theirs days in the London country side, where they have just been married. Ginny Weasley refused to abandon Harry and demanded they marry as soon as He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Name was killed. Harry and Ginny have also moved out to the country to enjoy the rest of there lives.
Although the death of Albus Dumbledore shocked and frightened students and parents, Hogwarts remained open until the second Death Eater attack on Hogwarts during Harry Potter’s seventh year. After this attack, and the murder of Anthony Goldstein, the school was shut down until such time when the governors felt the magical world was safe. Also after this, Harry Potter set out the hunt down the Dark Lord.
Now that Tom Riddle is dead, Hogwarts has reopened with a new talented staff of teachers, and an even more eager group of students. Many of these new students are children of old friend’s of Harry Potter. Even at this happy moment, whispers of the dark lord can still be heard from his lurking followers and those who shiver at the very mention of his name are puzzled at one question: Can he return?
